It's been a wild ride for the Jacksonville Jaguars but the franchise is set up to make a huge turnaround once again. There are numerous holes on the roster, which allows the front office to acquire whoever they want. After an interesting free agency period, we go over a 2022 NFL Mock Draft for the Jaguars.

Jacksonville has 12 total picks and can make a huge splash in the NFL Draft. They can focus on offense and defense to maximize the roster as best as possible. If the front office can make the right decisions, we should see the Jaguars get back on track within the next couple of years.

With that said, here is our full Jacksonville Jaguars 2022 NFL Mock Draft.

Jaguars 2022 NFL Mock Draft

Round 1 – 1st Pick Overall: Aidan Hutchinson (EDGE)

It's hard to imagine the Jaguars taking anybody other than Aidan Hutchinson. He's a beast of a pass rusher and will provide immediate production on the defensive line. Hutchinson is arguably the best player overall in the NFL Draft and would be a fantastic fit for a franchise in dire need of help on defense.

Round 2 – 33rd Pick Overall: Skyy Moore (WR)

The Jaguars brought in Christian Kirk who is likely going to be the top receiver on the team next season. However, the rest of the receiving core could use some work. Considering Jacksonville has Trevor Lawrence under center, they should look to add talented receivers to the roster. If Skyy Moore falls to the second round, Jacksonville should take him with the 33rd pick overall.

Round 3 – 65th Pick Overall: Brian Asamoah (LB)

Linebacker is a big need for this team after the front office released Myles Jack earlier in the offseason. Brian Asamoah might need some time to develop, but he has the potential to be a consistent starter in the NFL. He'd have a chance to earn a starting role right out of the gate, as the Jaguars don't have the greatest linebacker group in the NFL.

Round 3 – 70th Pick Overall: Kerby Joseph (S)

Another big need for this roster is safety. With two picks in the third round, the Jaguars can reel in Kerby Joseph after drafting Brian Asamoah. This would be an ideal scenario for Jacksonville, as Joseph has great potential to be a solid starter in the league. If this happens, the front office can address all three phases of the defense through the first three rounds of the 2022 NFL Draft.

Round 4 – 106th Pick Overall: Deangelo Malone (EDGE)

Don't be shocked if the Jaguars continue to focus on defense in round four. Deangelo Malone isn't at the same level of talent as Aidan Hutchinson, but he can hold his own. Malone could come in as a valuable rotational player until he develops into a more prominent role. Additionally, he'd give Jacksonville a plethora of pass rushers the coaching staff can work with for the next few years.

Round 5 157th Pick Overall: Chris Paul (T)

The offensive line isn't the greatest, but it's not the worst in the league either. Regardless, Chris Paul would be a great selection for the Jaguars, especially in the fifth round of the NFL Draft. Jacksonville lacks depth within the trenches and Paul can fill that void while he develops.

Round 6 180th Pick Overall: Noah Elliss (DL)

Noah Elliss isn't likely to make an impact in his rookie campaign. However, the Jaguars could use his talents in a depth position. Elliss might need a year or two of development though, which is perfect for Jacksonville. The coaching staff can take their time with him and help Noah Elliss see some playing time down the road.

Round 6 – 188th Pick Overall: Cordell Volson (T)

Cordell Volson would likely come in and compete for a backup role if he's selected by the Jaguars. He was a solid offensive lineman throughout his collegiate career, but he's not the perfect prospect. Look for Volson to be taken late in the NFL Draft.

Round 6 197th Pick Overall: Josh Johnson (WR)

The Jaguars can take a few late-round fliers this offseason as they have multiple selections in the sixth and seventh rounds. Josh Johnson would make for a great depth acquisition as he could play a valuable role on special teams.

Round 6 – 198th Pick Overall: Derrick Deese Jr. (TE)

Jacksonville signed Evan Engram to be the starting tight end, but the team could still use some depth in that position. Derrick Deese Jr. might not fall to the sixth round, as many teams see him as a valuable blocking tight end. Regardless, the Jaguars should look to select him if they can.

Round 7 – 222nd Pick Overall: Adam Anderson (EDGE)

Adam Anderson is one of those Georgia Bulldogs defenders and might be a sleeper pick in the 2022 NFL Draft. He has an uphill climb to form a long-time career in the league, but he'd have a great chance to earn a rotational role in a year or two with the Jaguars.

Round 7 235th Pick Overall: Matt Araiza (P)

The Jaguars were one of the worst punting teams in the league last season and they could make a splash pick in the seventh round. Matt Araiza performed well in the combine and earned some buzz from scouts. It's rare to see punters selected in the draft, but Jacksonville might pull the trigger this offseason.
