Trevor Lawrence and the Jacksonville Jaguars hit another roadblock as they fall short once again on Thursday night against the Cincinnati Bengals. It's not looking good for the Jags as their fourth game of the season comes in another loss, extending their losing stream to 19.

This current slump now puts the Jaguars at the 3rd longest losing streak in league history (via StatMuse):

It also didn't help that the manner in which they lost on Thursday was rather crushing. Lawrence help put his team up 14-0 early in the game as they tried to keep the Bengals at bay. They did, for a good majority of the game, but Cincinnati kept coming and tieing things up. And, with under a minute left to play, Burrow put his team on field goal range, and rookie Evan McPherson secured the Bengals' third win of the season as the final buzzer sounded.

There has been a ton of pressure on both Trevor Lawrence and head coach Urban Meyer who are both starting their NFL careers at the bottom of the league. A lot of people thought that the arrival of this year's first overall pick was instantly going to lift the franchise up but, unfortunately, it hasn't been all sunshine and rainbows in Jacksonville.

The Jaguars still have two more games against the Tennesee Titans and the Miami Dolphins before they get a bye week on Week 7. Hopefully, for the franchise's sake, the team finally gets to end this losing streak within the next couple of weeks.
