What a month it has been for Los Angeles-based teams. In a span of a few weeks, the Los Angeles Lakers and the Los Angeles Dodgers bagged championships in their respective leagues. Now, Los Angeles Rams quarterback Jared Goff is claiming that L.A. will go three for three once the Rams win the Super Bowl this season.

Goff acknowledged how the entire city is on a high at the moment, and also admitted that there's a bit of pressure on them now:

“It’s something that’s really exciting for the city right now,” Goff said, via Kevin Modesti of the Orange County Register (h/t Josh Alper of NBC Sports). “It would be good to make it a little three-peat with us involved. It’s definitely something we’re conscious of.”

While it's a tad early for Goff to be thinking about the Super Bowl, we can't really say that this is beyond the Rams. They've had an impressive start to the season, and are currently 5-2.

According to Goff, he believes that they have the right pieces to contend for the ultimate prize, and at this point, more than a few folks out there might agree with this sentiment given LA's magic formula this year.

The Rams will be back in action on Sunday when they take on the Miami Dolphins for Week 8. It's going to be a tough test for L.A., but these are exactly the type of situations that they should relish if they truly want to establish themselves as a legitimate threat to the title.
