Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck are focusing on what matters most to them: family. The couple has been rumored to have some trouble in their marriage over the last few weeks, but a source tells People that they “still want to put the kids first.”

The situation has “been heartbreaking for her,” but both Lopez and Affleck are prioritizing their children as the two have “always been very family-oriented.”

Lopez shares 16-year-old twins Max and Emme with ex-husband Marc Anthony. Affleck shares Violet, 18, as well as Seraphina, 15, and Samuel, 12 with ex-wife Jennifer Garner.

Garner has even weighed in on the rumored marriage issues between Lopez and Affleck.

“She wants him happy and healthy so he can be the best dad possible,” a source told People referencing the three children Garner and Affleck share: Violet, 18, Seraphina, 15, and Samuel, 12.

The source added that the 13 Going on 30 actress “wants the best for” Affleck.

This is not the first time Garner has spoken about Lopez and Affleck. She previously wished the couple well last week.

“She fully supports their relationship and wants nothing more than for him to be happy,” a source told Us Weekly Tuesday (May 21).

“Jennifer Garner is encouraging Ben to work on his marriage to Jen,” the source said, adding that Garner understands how being in the spotlight “can put a strain” on a relationship.

Jennifer Lopez Cancels Tour Amid Ben Affleck Marriage Rumors

Las Vegas residency, Jennifer Lopez

Lopez had to break it to her fans that her This Is Me…Now tour has been canceled. The Atlas actress went to social media to share the heartbreaking news.

“I am completely heartsick and devastated about letting you down. Please know that I wouldn’t do this if I didn’t feel that it was absolutely necessary. I promise I will make it up to you and we will all be together again. I love you all so much. Until next time…” the Grammy-winning singer wrote.

Live Nation Entertainment also wrote a statement about the cancellation of the tour citing that “Jennifer is taking time off to be with her children, family and close friends.” Live Nation also pointed to fans to reach out to where they bought their tickets from for a full refund.

“Representatives for Live Nation announced today that the Jennifer Lopez US Summer 2024 Tour ‘THIS IS ME…LIVE’ is canceled. For those who purchased through Ticketmaster, tickets will automatically be refunded – there is nothing further fans need to do,” the statement read.

“For those who purchased via third-party resale sites such as SeatGeek, StubHub, VividSeats, etc. – please reach out to your point of purchase for more details.”

The tour was set to begin next month at the Kia Center in Orlando, Florida.

Prior to Lopez's tour cancellation, The New York Post reported that her 90-date Las Vegas residency was in jeopardy.

“MGM is watching her not doing well on the road. They are very nervous,” a source close to the situation told the outlet. “It’s pretty rare you have a poor tour and then go to Vegas.”

Lopez's Las Vegas tour is supposed to begin in the fall of 2025.
