No one expected the Golden State Warriors' Jordan Poole to come out of the preseason as one of the hottest names in the hobby. After going under the radar for the first two years of his career, the smooth shooting guard from the Bay is entering the new season with more hype and interest from NBA card collectors.

But it isn't just Poole who has benefitted from a hot streak during the preseason. There are some notable guys who can break out soon, thanks to a wonderful showing during the past weeks. We take a look at these players and their card values down below.

Mo Bamba NBA Cards

Ever since he entered the NBA in 2018, Mo Bamba has always been a prospect with a ceiling no one has ever seen. The Orlando Magic's big man boasts an elite size and wingspan with athleticism and a smooth stroke from beyond the arc, a blend of talents that had many salivating over his potential. After the preseason, it looks Bamba can rest any doubts on his name and finally live up to expectations.

Even with a limited sample, Bamba has managed to show what he's got during the preseason by notching 11.5 points, seven rebounds, and 3.8 blocks in an average of 20 minutes on the court. If Orlando's new head coach, Jamahl Mosely, chooses to grant the center more minutes, collectors can see more momentum to Bamba's PSA 10 Prizm Silver rookie card. As of now, it has already risen from $82 to $130 in such a short period of time.

OG Anunoby NBA Cards

With Kyle Lowry gone and Pascal Siakam not living up to expectations, the Toronto Raptors will expect OG Anunoby to take a leap this season. With the way he performed during the preseason, it looks like the fifth-year forward has already made it.

During the preseason, the 24-year old led all Raptors in scoring by posting 19.3 points on 52% shooting from the field and 54.2% from downtown. This bodes well for Anunoby, a known defensive player, as he improves more on the offensive end of the court. And with Siakam missing the start of the season, Anunoby's PSA 10 Prizm Silver rookie card will benefit more with the spotlight shining on him. Surprisingly, his stock has already taken off from $190 to $351.

Tyler Herro NBA Cards

After his rookie season, most collectors anticipated Tyler Herro to make a massive splash during his second year in the league. While his numbers marginally improved, the overall impact, or the lack thereof, underwhelmed basketball fans. Proof of his lackluster sophomore campaign was when he looked lost during the first round of the playoffs against the Milwaukee Bucks.

Now, after several preseason games, that Herro seemed to have packed his bags and said goodbye. In his place is a dynamic guard who can deliver loads of buckets for the Miami Heat to help them string a series of wins. This is very evident when Herro averaged 20.8 points, 4.5 rebounds, and three assists while knocking down 47.7 of his shots from the field. With that kind of performance, it's no wonder his PSA 10 Prizm Silver rookie card has gone up from $245 to $500 recently.

Jordan Poole NBA Cards

As mentioned earlier, Poole came out of nowhere to rise above other guys in the card market. That's no surprise when someone who stayed below the radar during his first two seasons suddenly averages 23.3 points 3.5 assists, and 1.3 steals per contest. And mind you, Poole is doing that efficiently by hitting 51.6 of his shots from the field and 40% from three.

Even with Klay Thompson returning to the lineup soon, there will still be plenty of opportunities for Poole to make a name for himself this season. When he does, his PSA 10 Prizm Silver rookie card's jump in value from $199 to $450 will happen again sometime during the following months.

With the NBA set to open very soon, card collectors would do well to take a closer look at these guys. While nothing is set in stone, it helps to load up on these players' cards in preparation for any potential leap they can make.
