Even after having won an NBA championship, Kevin Durant is still the butt of some jokes on Twitter, and with a long offseason, he's bound to run into a few here and there.

The latest was a guy trying to get him riled up by saying he named his dog after Durant and he left him — enough to make the Finals MVP come to drop bombs.

He admitted shortly after that the dog name was completely made up.

Even the Barstool Sports guys chimed in and tried to humor the sentiment.

Yet the fan seemed to revel upon his social media victory for luring Durant to respond to his tweet and even getting a few laughs from former two-time MVP Stephen Curry.

Durant has been notorious for engaging on these social media wars on Twitter and trolls will have a field day until he chooses to let comments roll off his back.
