The New York Knicks got a 109-94 win over the Houston Rockets with Jalen Brunson returning to the lineup, and Julius Randle had a hilarious revelation on what he said to Brunson about getting back in the lineup.

“I told him get his a** back,” Julius Randle said, via SNY Knicks. “Stop messing around, get back. I'm hurting, my body is hurting. Got your a** back on the floor.”

However, Jalen Brunson seems to either not remember that, or think it did not happen at all.

“He may have lied to you, I don't know if he said that to me,” Brunson said, via SNY Knicks. “I don't know if he said that. But yeah any chance I get to get out there and go play when I feel great, I want to play, obviously.”

This type of joking around is not new for this Knicks team. Brunson and Josh Hart have a close relationship going back to their days with Villanova, and that has continued with the Knicks. Josh Hart is often taking sarcastic jabs at Brunson, while Brunson plays it down or tells him to stop. That is a similar exchange seen here between Brunson and Randle, the two best players on this Knicks team.

Regardless, it is huge for the Knicks that Brunson is back on the court. He scored 30 with seven assists and three rebounds, while Randle put up 31 with eight rebounds and four assists. The duo showed up to get a bounce-back win after a frustrating loss to the Orlando Magic. Up next are the Washington Wizards tonight in another home game for the Knicks.

The Knicks will look to keep Brunson healthy so that they can continue winning and earn as high of a seed as possible heading into the NBA Playoffs in the Eastern Conference.
