Comedians Desus Nice and The Kid Mero both made their hard pitches for Golden State Warriors superstar Kevin Durant to join the New York Knicks. The TV personalities appeared on First We Feast for the Spicy Wings challenge, and took the opportunity to recruit the two-time Finals MVP to The Big Apple.

Mero promised to brush KD's hair everyday if he ever decides to join the Knicks, while Desus volunteered to be the social media manager of Durant's burner accounts.

Talks of Durant's impending free agency this off-season are heating up as fast as those wings spiced up Desus and Nero's mouths. The two-time NBA champion is perhaps the biggest fish to hit the waters this summer, and surely, every franchise around the league will be making their respective pitches for Durant.

However, there are only a handful of teams which have a realistic shot at landing Durant. One of them is the Knicks, which have opened up two max slots this summer. New York went all in after sacrificing and trading away former disgruntled forward Kristaps Porzingis to clear cap space for the opportunity to land not one, but two big names this summer.

In fact, during All-Star weekend, executives around the league believe that New York would Durant's top destination of choice if he was to leave Golden State.

There's certainly a lot of noise with his upcoming free agency this July. And Durant certainly hates all the talk that's going on as evidenced by his media tirade a few weeks back.

Nonetheless, the defending champions don't seem to be too worried with the free agency frenzy surrounding their superstar forward. People within the Warriors brass are confident that KD will re-sign with the team, especially after they inevitably capture their third straight NBA championship.
