Timothe Luwawu-Cabarrot got the better of Julius Randle on Monday as the Brooklyn Nets edged their state neighbors the New York Knicks with a 114-112 win. Though it was Luwawu-Cabarrot and the Nets who ultimately scored the W, Randle wasn't done beefing with him after the game, as the Knicks All-Star put out some choice words for the Nets defender.

“I'm not sure what his problem was,” Randle said with regards to his in-game altercation with Luwawu-Cabarrot (via Kristian Winfield of the NY Daily News). “Like I said, he's not a guy I'm worried about when I'm playing.”

The Frenchman was a pest all evening and his defensive aggressiveness got him tangled up with Julius Randle during the game. The two had to be separated as things got a bit heated (via @GuardPureBr):

The Nets reserve is known for his peskiness on the defensive end and on Monday, he played 32 minutes off the bench to give guys like Julius Randle a difficult time. It's pretty clear though that Randle wasn't loving the TLC (pun intended) he got from the 25-year-old. As he mentioned, he's not worried about Luwawu-Cabarrot while they're on the court but it did seem based on his post-game comments that TLC is living rent-free in Randle's head after their Brooklyn duel.

Julius Randle did put up a gallant effort as he notched a triple-double performance with 19 points, 15 rebounds, and 12 assists. These numbers weren't enough though as the Nets were led by Kyrie Irving who dropped a 40-piece in the Barclays Center to hand the Knicks their fourth loss in five outings.
