Why The Knicks Could Cover The Spread/Win
The Knicks did the right things for the majority of the game. Overall, they put up the stats to win the game. In the end, they just could not finish. Consequently, missing free throws toward the end hurt them. The Knicks finished 72.7 percent (16 for 22) at the charity stripe. Furthermore, the Knicks also turned the ball over 13 times. But the Knicks shot well, hitting 47.5 percent of their shots, including 51.9 percent from the triples. Thus, they only need a few adjustments to win Game 4.

Brunson played well for the most part. Ultimately, he scored the usual points. But Brunson also turned the ball over five times. Subsequently, the turnovers proved to be costly in the end, and the Pacers slipped by. Hart was a rebounding machine. Amazingly, he managed to snag 18 boards and was a force all over the court.
But the Knicks were also missing one of their best players. Sadly, OG Anunoby did not play because of a hamstring injury. But he traveled with the team. Therefore, there will be a chance he will play in Game 4. DiVincenzo was exceptional in Game 3. Now, look for him to try and do it again in Game 4. Hartenstein was relatively quiet, not really doing much to help the Knicks in Game 3. Thus, the Knicks hope he can find a way to bounce back and do much more to put the Knicks over the top.
The Knicks will cover the spread if they can shoot the ball efficiently and handle the ball better. Then, they must win the board battle and get themselves second chances.
Why The Pacers Could Cover The Spread/Win
The Pacers did not shoot the ball particularly well. Significantly, they shot 47.2 percent from the floor, including 37.5 percent from beyond the arc. But the Pacers also hit 83.3 percent of their free-throw attempts. Also, Indiana barely won the rebounding battle. The Pacers still need to play better defense to prevent the Knicks from running away in Game 4.
Siakam had a great game. Amazingly, he was all over the court and played a strong game. Turner was a force. Furthermore, his 10 rebounds helped propel the Pacers forward. Haliburton has not been the best scorer often throughout the playoffs. However, he arose to the challenge in Game 3 and led Indiana to victory.
Nembhard was the hero, with his ability to hit the shot from beyond the arc being the catalyst for the victory. Now, he hopes to find a way to keep the hot hand and give the Pacers the boost. The Pacers won this game despite a quiet game from Obi Toppin, who was 1 for 4. Also, T.J. McConnell did not do much in this game, either.
The Pacers will cover the spread if they can shoot the ball efficiently. Then, they need to clamp down on defense and force bad shots.
Final Knicks-Pacers Game 4 Prediction & Pick
The Knicks played a much better game than the Pacers in regards to shooting. However, it was the little mistakes that hurt them in the end. While the Pacers could claim this game and tie the series, the Knicks are a superior team and will do enough again to keep themselves in this game. The Knicks will do more than enough to cover the spread on the road and make the Pacers earn every single point they get in Game 4.
