The LeBron JamesAlex Caruso connection came alive early in Game 2 of the Western Conference semifinals between the Los Angeles Lakers and the Houston Rockets on Sunday.

The pair of high-flying Lakers turned on the jets early in the first quarter and finished with a beautiful two-man fast break highlight.

The Purple and Gold's tight defense forced the Rockets to fumble the basketball, as James picked up the loose ball and gave it up to a streaking Caruso.

The Laker fan-favorite attracted defenders and proceeded to feed the ball back to LeBron for an incredible two-handed alley-oop hammer.

Apart from that breathtaking throw down, the Lakers also came out hot from downtown and held  a 36-20 lead after the first 12 minutes of Game 2.

The Lakers will certainly need more of those two-man connections to even up the series at one win apiece.

The Lakers took a commanding 16-point lead going into halftime for Game 2 against James Harden, Russell Westbrook, and the Rockets.
