After winning two championships and the 2011 Sixth Man of the Year award with the Los Angeles Lakers, Lamar Odom has faced a lot of adversity. It has almost been two years since Odom was found unconscious at a brothel and he recently shared his journey on The Players' Tribune.

At 37 years old, the former Laker could be making a comeback according to Rhode Island head coach Jim Harrick via Alex Kennedy of HoopsHype:

The BIG3 League was founded in the beginning of the year which features former NBA players like Allen Iverson, Jason Williams, and Jermaine O'Neal. If Odom is able to get back into game shape, it would be a miracle for Lakers fans around the world to see one of their all-time favorites on the basketball court again.

Along with potentially playing again, Odom previously had an interest in joining head coach Luke Walton's staff. While it is unclear if there is a role for the two-time champion, he was around the team during their pre-draft workouts as they ultimately drafted Lonzo Ball, Kyle Kuzma, Josh Hart, and Thomas Bryant.

For Odom, it would be nice to see him involved with the game of basketball again. As one of the most versatile big men in the league, Odom was ahead of his time and would have thrived in today's small ball era.

Odom averaged 13.3 points, 8.4 rebounds, and 3.7 assists in his 14-year career.
