LeBron James is the best player in the NBA today, and arguably the best player of all time. While speaking on ESPN's Undisputed, Chris Broussard said that James will carry the Los Angeles Lakers into the playoffs.

As it stands right now, the Lakers are 10th place in the west and don't even have the best record in Los Angeles. To Broussard it appears none of that matters.

If the season ended today, the Lakers would miss the playoffs. Broussard looks at the teams ahead of them, just to get to the eighth spot, and sees where their playoff hopes are still very much alive.

The Los Angeles Clippers hold the eighth seed at the moment. They are 2.5 games ahead of the Lakers. The Clippers also just traded their leading scorer, Tobias Harris, to Philadelphia. The other major point that Broussard brings up is that the Clippers' first rounder in the upcoming draft belongs to Boston under lottery protection. So, if they make the playoffs they lose a pick.

In ninth place is the Sacramento Kings. They hold a two-game lead over the Lakers. The reason Broussard favors James and company is experience. While Sacramento has an exciting team, the youth of De'Aaron Fox and Marvin Bagley is not ready to carry a team to the postseason.

The Lakers are led by James who knows all about the postseason. That is the experience that will help give Los Angeles the final push they need to become a full fledged playoff team. It is hard to believe they would miss the postseason with the GOAT on their roster anyway.
