The Los Angeles Lakers are currently in the midst of a full-on battle for the final remaining Play-In spots out in the West. Friday's matchup against the Minnesota Timberwolves is a massive game for them, with the Wolves currently just half a game ahead of them in the standings. Anthony Davis injury status vs. Timberwolves
At the moment, Davis is still listed as probable on the Lakers' injury report with a right foot stress injury. However, it should only be a matter of time before he is officially upgraded to available. That is, of course, barring any unforeseen setback.
True enough, Davis was upgraded to available just before tipoff.
Also worth noting is the fact that LeBron James, who was initially tagged as questionable to play, has now been cleared to start against Minnesota. Joining him in the starting lineup is D'Aneglo Russell, who was not included in the injury report ahead of a matchup against his former team.
For their part, the Timberwolves also upgraded both Anthony Edwards and Karl-Anthony Towns to available for Friday's crucial matchup against the Lakers.
