Just like the rest of the NBA world, Memphis Grizzlies star Ja Morant was in awe of LeBron James after the Los Angeles Lakers forward scored 50 points on Friday against the Washington Wizards.

It hasn't been a full week since LeBron crushed the Golden State Warriors with 56 points, but he was at it again as he faced the Wizards at home. On his way to his 50-piece, James made 18 of his 25 attempts. Even more amazing, he was 6-of-8 from deep while also recording seven rebounds and six assists.

Of course even Morant–who is considered the most electrifying player in the NBA today–saw his jaw drop from the performance.

A lot of great players have scored 50 points. Heck, even Kobe Bryant dropped 60 in his final career game at age 37. However, for LeBron James to be able to do it not just once but twice is certainly a feat worthy of admiration.

As Ja Morant said it as well, the efficiency and the way he did it–dominating by attacking the rim and shooting the basket–make things even more incredible. Just how many 37-year-olds can do that?

Not to mention that James improved his scoring average to 29.71 this season, a little bit ahead of Joel Embiid and Giannis Antetokounmpo. He is now the scoring leader, and if he keeps the momentum he's in, he could be on his way to his second scoring title.

Of course the priority for the Purple and Gold is to make the playoffs, but LA fans will surely not deny another reason to cheer for the team.
