The Los Angeles Lakers have undergone numerous questions surrounding their team chemistry, or lack thereof, this season. However, L.A. guards Alex Caruso and Josh Hart found some time to exchange some friendly Twitter barbs on Sunday afternoon in the wake of Manchester City's victory over Chelsea in the Carabao Cup Final.

Caruso has been very open about his fandom for Manchester City dating back to November of last year when the team sent him a personalized kit.

After City won the Carabao Cup 4-3 on penalties, Alex Caruso once again took to Twitter to celebrate.

Josh Hart, an avid Chelsea fan and proud owner of a signed Eden Hazard jersey, was quick to respond.

The exchange marked a lighthearted occasion in a season that has been far more tenuous and stressful.

Caruso has not been much of a factor for the Lakers this season, spending much of the first half of the season in the G League before being called up in late January after an injury sustained by Lonzo Ball.

Caruso, a four-year player at Texas A&M, has played in just six games after appearing in 35 contests for Los Angeles last season.

Meanwhile, Hart has struggled to take the next leap forward in his second season after a solid rookie year. Despite increasing his scoring, the former Villanova standout has seen a decrease in rebounding and 3-point percentage, two areas in which he was expected to provide an added boost for a Lakers team that is often forced to play smaller lineups.
