Los Angeles Lakers forward Kyle Kuzma is making sure he has a productive offseason. While surely gearing up for the upcoming 2020-21 season, the 25-year old is also giving his input on the designing of the new Puma rollout: The Clyde All-Pro Kuzma Mid.

Kuzma recently inked a five-year, $15 million dollar deal with Puma, thus severing his ties with Nike. Let the Flint, Michigan native tell it, Kuzma wanted to be more involved in the schematics of shoes from whatever brand he represented, which is exactly what Puma has held true to with their latest release.

A first look at the latest mid-top shoe by Puma can be seen below:

Kyle Kuzma also took to Twitter to gauge a reaction from his fans after news of the collab had spread.

While these won't be considered a signature shoe for Kyle Kuzma, it's certainly a step in the right direction for the University of Utah standout if he plans to continue to remain relevant in this ever-growing industry.

If he's able to step up his level of play in the upcoming season, his future with Puma could be one for the books, seeing as how the design company thought he was well worth the spending last year after stealing him away from Nike.

The third-year forward didn't live up to many promises during the 2019-20 season, in part due to the expansion of roles for other players such as Anthony Davis.

Even so, Kuzma remains a young player with a ridiculous ceiling in the event that he's able to sharpen his playmaking decisions in the years to come.
