The Los Angeles Lakers have recalled small forward Brandon Ingram and point guard Rajon Rondo from the South Bay Lakers following rehab assignments.

Brandon Ingram is recovering from a sprained left ankle, while Rajon Rondo is rehabbing from right hand surgery.

Ingram suffered his injury against the San Antonio Spurs on Dec. 5 at home and has been out ever since. The swingman is averaging 15.2 points, 4.0 rebounds and 2.2 assists per game this year for the Lakers while shooting 47.0 percent from the field, 32.4 percent from beyond the arc and 62.6 percent from the foul line.

Rondo, on the other hand, underwent surgery in November after breaking his hand on Nov. 14 versus the Portland Trail Blazers. The veteran guard is averaging 8.5 points, 4.5 rebounds and 6.5 assists in his first season in LA. He is shooting 45.5 percent from the floor, 42.9 percent from the 3-point line and 50.0 percent from the free-throw line.

Rondo also had his hand drained to address some swelling last week.

Ingram will likely return to the Lakers' starting lineup once he's ready to play, while Rondo will back up Lonzo Ball at the point guard spot. LA is 18-12 on the season, good for fourth place in the Western Conference standings. They take on the Brooklyn Nets on Tuesday.
