After missing the last three games due to a toe injury, Lance Stephenson of the Los Angeles Lakers will suit up against the Denver Nuggets.

According to Dave McMenamin of ESPN, Stephenson has healed after dealing with a toe sprain and foot soreness over the last few days.

Lance Stephenson is averaging 7.3 points per game 2.0 rebounds, and 2.9 assists across 15.7 minutes. Throughout the season, Stephenson has struggled to find the consistency demanded from him. Though he has shown sparks of brilliance, overall, it's been an average season for him. He's widely seen as a fan favorite and energy booster.

The Lakers definitely need Stephenson to step up his game. The Purple and Gold's chances of qualifying for the playoffs are getting slimmer and slimmer by day. A bunch of Los Angeles fans themselves have lost all hope that their team will make it to the postseason.

Given this grim reality, the Lakers would need to re-evaluate their roster in the summer. And with how they behaved in the days leading to the trade deadline, it seems that the only untouchable player is LeBron James. Stephenson, the so-called young guns, and the other veterans, could be shipped out once the front office sees fit.
