LaVar Ball claims that he doesn't have a relationship with Los Angeles Lakers star LeBron James despite the three-time NBA champion joining the franchise.

LeBron's decision to join the Lakers raised plenty of questions regarding how he'd co-exist with both LaVar and Lonzo Ball, but it sounds like things are working out well on both fronts.

From TMZ Sports:

“I really don't have a relationship with LeBron,” the big Baller says.

“I like it. He ain't done nothing bad to me, I ain't done nothing bad to him. So, as long as we good, we'll be all right.”

This approach seems to be good for all parties involved, as the Lakers are off to a 13-9 start this season.

LeBron has been his usual self, posting 28.1 points, 7.8 rebounds, and 6.6 assists per game, and he has undoubtedly helped make the young Lakers better on both sides of the court.

As for Lonzo, he's averaged 8.0 points and 3.4 rebounds while starting 20 of the team's 22 games thus far.

And since it is LaVar we're talking about here, he couldn't resist talking to TMZ Sports about Lonzo's playing time and how it'll affect head coach Luke Walton's job security with the team.

“If he keep playing Lonzo a lot — over 35 minutes — he'll stick around,” Ball says. “Less, he won't.”

Well, that's easy enough, isn't it?

The Lakers are currently in action against the Phoenix Suns, with Walton's team set for back-to-back games against the San Antonio Spurs coming up next.
