Los Angeles Lakers star LeBron James just keeps reminding everyone that he still has plenty of gas left in his tank despite being 38 years old and playing in his 20th year in the NBA.

On Tuesday against the Los Angeles Clippers, James exploded for 46 points to keep the Lakers competing. While the Purple and Gold ended up losing 133-115, fans still couldn't help but give the respect that James deserves for his performance.

LeBron shot 16-of-29 from the field and had eight rebounds, seven assists, two steals and one block in 33 minutes of action. He also became the first player ever to score 40 or more points against all 30 NBA teams.

Former NBA player Eddie Johnson heaped a ton of praise on James for his incredible display, saying he's “the best basketball specimen ever.”

“No one has done this at this level for 20 years and 38. Enjoy the show! The ones who played know what I am talking about! Couch potatoes and water boys responses don’t matter,” Johnson added.

Several fans called James a “legend” and the “GOAT,” especially since no player has been as consistently dominant as he is at age 38.

“[James] is doing all and more then you can ask for from 38 [year-old] athlete in his 20th career year. We still have a lot of room in the western conference to make a push for a playoff spot. With the new signing of [Rui Hachimura] and the very soon return of Anthony Davis plus AR [Austin Reaves] and LW4 [Lonnie Walker IV] we will be just fine. Clippers beating us tonight for the whatever time in a regular season is annoying to watch. But Lakers will indeed finish where they need to be by the end of this season to make a real effort for a playoff run,” one optimistic fan added.

“[James] is truly the goat of this era… MAN F**K THAT HE THE GREATEST OF ALL TIME,” a second fan commented.

Meanwhile, other fans called for the Lakers' front office to get him better help. Clearly, what the team currently has is not working, so changes might be necessary.
