Against the greatest shooter of all time in Stephen Curry, it was Los Angeles Lakers star LeBron James who fired the best and most important long-range shot of the evening.

With the game tied at 100-all and just a little over one minute remaining in their crucial play-in showdown, LeBron took matters into his own hands and drained what turned out to be the game-winning triple from the right wing. What made the shot even more amazing was the fact that he did it against Curry.

Talk about giving a taste of his own medicine, huh?

The Lakers managed to held on to their slim lead and closed the contest 103-100 to move on to the playoffs as the seventh seed. LeBron James finished with an insane triple-double of 22 points, 11 rebounds and 10 assists.

Stephen Curry outscored LeBron as he finished with 37 points, but that won't matter to the Lakers and the Purple and Gold faithful as they are now secured of a postseason berth for the second straight year.

Anthony Davis led the Lakers in scoring with 25 on top of 12 boards. He and LeBron were instrumental as LA came back from a 13-point halftime deficit to turn the game around.

As for the Warriors, they certainly put up a fight and should be credited for their effort. Luckily for them, their fight for the playoffs is not yet over, as they next face the Memphis Grizzlies in a do-or-die match for the eighth seed in the Western Conference.
