Los Angeles Lakers superstar LeBron James couldn't be any more proud of his nephew Zaire Wade, who was selected by the Salt Lake City Stars during Saturday's G League draft. Moreover, before he starts his professional basketball journey, Uncle Bron gave Dwyane Wade's son a piece of advice on dealing with the haters.

James took it to Instagram to share some encouraging words for Zaire. The Lakers leader has also heard all the hate that the youngster has been receiving over his G League draft selection, but LeBron wants him to block all the negativity and just keep pushing.

Zaire Wade was selected No. 10 overall in the recent G League draft. However, he has been on the receiving end of some backlash as some believed his father's connection to the Jazz–Dwyane Wade being a part-owner of the team–was the only reason the team's G League affiliate selected him.

However, the selection is not surprising anymore since it has been made clear Zaire was going to the Jazz affiliate all along when he decided to take the pro route. Unfortunately since players can't directly sign to a G League team, Wade's son had to go through the draft process. It is also the reason why the likes of Lance Stephenson and LiAngelo Ball had to be drafted during Saturday's event.

LeBron James, for his part, certainly knows how to deal with haters. He has received more than his fair share of criticisms ever since he stepped foot on the NBA hardwood, so Zaire better listen to his uncle and Lakers star.

For now, though, the young gun can focus on celebrating the milestone with his family before putting on the work as he looks to develop his game further at a high level.
