The King has risen once again. Going up against the two-time reigning NBA MVP, LeBron James displayed another top-notch performance against the Milwaukee Bucks on Thursday.

LeBron took control of the entire match, finishing with a season-high 34 points on 6-of-10 shooting from long distance, six rebounds, and eight assists to lead the Lakers to a 113-106 victory. He was in attack mode from the start of the game and never took his foot off the gas. LBJ also provided quality defense, making sure he made his impact on both ends as he clearly outplayed Giannis Antetokounmpo.

LeBron’s impressive performance inspired teammate Jared Dudley to post on Twitter and honor LBJ, including an appropriate hashtag.

There's no denying that LeBron is up there in the early MVP discussions along with Stephen Curry, Luka Doncic, Kevin Durant, Paul George, and Nikola Jokic. After their win over the Bucks, LBJ is now averaging 26.1 points on 48.7 percent shooting, 7.0 rebounds, and a team-high 7.3 assists.

Being in Year 18, many expected the 6-foot-8 LeBron to regress a bit as Father Time approaches. But as he has proven through the years, the 36-year-old LeBron is a unique specimen and a generational talent.

He will certainly continue to play at a high level as the season progresses as he looks to win his fifth MVP trophy. Their title defense will surely fuel him each game going forward.

With LeBron at the forefront, the Lakers have improved their NBA-best card to 12-4, including a franchise record 8-0 slate on the road.

Simply put, LeBron James not slowing down at all.
