LeBron James is all about helping the next generation of superstars grow, so he's more than happy to see Ja Morant thrive. This emerged after the game between his Los Angeles Lakers and the Memphis Grizzlies.

James pulled off a class move by sending Morant a jersey with a message on it after the Lakers lost to Memphis, 105-88. It was meant to inspire Morant in the rookie's attempt to become a sensational superstar who will take the NBA to even greater heights.

Grizzly Bear Blues reported on the heart-warming moment:

However, it seems like Morant doesn't want to be one-upped by the King. After receiving a jersey from James himself, he went on to have one of his own jerseys sent to the Lakers locker room in exchange. Such an audacious move would have been scoffed at if it was done by other players in the league, but James was more than happy to receive Morant's jersey, as reported by Bill Oram.

At this point, everyone knows that Morant is an outspoken man who won't let anyone rain on his parade. For him to pull off such a ballsy move is one that plenty of Grizzlies fans have come to love and expect out of their point guard.

Morant is enjoying a powerful start to his NBA career. More than halfway through the season, he's averaging 17.5 points, 3.4 rebounds, and 6.9 assists a night. Moreover, he's doing so on 50%/34%/78% shooting splits. His electrifying dunks and jaw-dropping passes made the Grizzlies one of the must-watch teams on NBA League Pass.

With the way he's carrying himself, it wouldn't be weird to see Morant become a bonafide superstar in the coming years.
