Sometimes, your reputation gets you in trouble and Montrezl Harrell knows that. The Los Angeles Lakers forward was called for a technical foul against the Sacramento Kings on Wednesday after he let out a primal scream after he felt he was fouled while knocking down an awkward shot in the paint.

Obviously, Trez wasn't appreciative of the situation as a bonus free-throw went the Kings' way at the expense of his technical foul.

Now playing in his sixth season in the NBA, Harrell has made a name for himself as one of the more colorful characters in the league. He's been known to get under the skin of his opponents and some of the officials which have put him in delicate situations. Nevertheless, this fire from the reigning Sixth Man of the Year is what his Lakers teammates and coaches have loved about it as he brings in some much-needed intensity and energy off the bench.

And, to be completely fair to Harrell, this latest technical foul was rather soft. An “and-1” scream has been almost automatic from players every time they feel they got hit on a play – which is, let's be real, more often than we'd want. Though the referees should absolutely maintain order and peace on the court, they do have to be objective and rational enough to not pull the trigger on these T's just because of a player's certain image. I know Draymond Green, as well as Harrell, would definitely agree.
