Los Angeles Lakers All-Star guard Russell Westbrook is finding a new way to commit turnovers, which is saying something for the guy who leads the league in turnovers.

The first one is his classic example of driving in the lane, getting caught in the air with nowhere to go with the ball. He does that all the time.

But the second one, that's new. With teammate Anthony Davis attempting to come set a screen in front of him, he passes the ball right off Anthony's head. That ball pops in the air and is picked off and the Heat go off the other way.

There was a lot of uncertainty on how Russell Westbrook would fit with the Lakers. He is a ball-first point guard who moves one hundred miles an hour at all times. Maybe the Lakers were looking at how old the roster was and wanted to bring some energy and intensity.

11 games into the season, and the experiment does not appear to be working well. Westbrook posted his sixth career quadruple double with turnovers. That is recording double digits in points, rebounds, assists and turnovers in a single game. No other player in history has done that more than three times.

Lakers superstar LeBron James missed his 4th straight game Wednesday. Without his ability to calm things down when the team is unsettled, Los Angeles has looked inconsistent at best. James is dealing with an abdominal injury but it is not expected to be a long-term injury.
