LeBron James is reportedly thrilled to be living in Los Angeles and has no interest in leaving the Lakers, according to Joe Vardon of The Athletic.

James signed a four-year, $153.5 million deal with the Lakers last summer. LA missed the playoffs in the first season of the LeBron era, but The King reportedly wants to make it work with the Lakers.

“He is so happy to be living in Los Angeles,” Vardon said on the Athletic's Tampering podcast. “His family is so happy about this. Bronny is going into high school. This is where they want to be. LeBron does not want to play anywhere else. I would be shocked if at any point for the remainder of his career, so long as LeBron James Jr. is in high school in Greater Los Angeles, that he would have any interest in playing anywhere else. He wants to make this work.”

The Lakers hired former Indiana Pacers and Orlando Magic head coach Frank Vogel to replace Luke Walton. NBA Hall of Famer Jason Kidd will be Vogel's lead assistant. Kidd and James have a strong relationship, as they were teammates on USA Basketball back in the day.

LeBron doesn't have a no-trade clause with LA, so the organization could trade the four-time MVP if owner Jeanie Buss and general manager Rob Pelinka wanted to. However, there has been no indication the Lakers have any interest in moving James.
