Los Angeles Lakers guard Kentavious Caldwell-Pope and teammate LeBron James made the Detroit Pistons' defense look silly as they teamed up for the inbound alley-oop.

Caldwell-Pope had the perfect pass to James, who capped it off with an explosive slam dunk.

In the 2019-20 season thus far, it is LeBron James who has been doing much of the passing for the Lakers. He leads the league in assists with 11 per game. But in the play above, it was James' turn to be the recipient.

At 35-years-old, the four-time MVP is still at the top of his game and athletic as ever. He's not a “washed king” as several critics would say.

Kentavious Caldwell-Pope, too, has slowly and surely proved his worth. Fans and critics lashed on him for his struggles early on. But as the season progressed, Caldwell-Pope showcased why he's a great asset to the Lakers.
