Off of a forward pass from Lance Stephenson, LeBron James of the Los Angeles Lakers mustered all his strength to complete a circus shot for the and-one opportunity.

Check out the clip below as James flexes right after converting the shot.

The completion of the difficult play would not have been possible if it weren't for James' brute strength — a trait which he has utilized since entering the NBA. One should take note that James tangled up with 6-foot-9 power forward Kevon Looney. Yet James made Looney look like a stick figure of a point guard.

Apart from the highlight, the play pretty much shows that the Lakers are looking to push the ball up as much as they can. And such an offensive playstyle requires the defense to actively go for the steal, such as what Stephenson just did.

Though just a preseason game, the crowd over in Las Vegas provided a midseason atmosphere. With the addition of James, the Lakers are touted to be one of the top teams in the Western Conference. They might not make it to the NBA Finals this year. But in the next season, as the Lakers develop more chemistry and probably add another star to their roster, the purple and gold are set to return to their winning ways.
