Leon Goretzka doesn't seem to be going anywhere despite transfer rumors. The Bayern Munich & Germany midfielder has been strongly linked with a move to Manchester United in the summer, but it looks like he'll be calling Allianz Arena “home” for at least another year.

There are only 12 months left on Leon Goretzka's contract with Bayern Munich, but he's yet to sign a new deal. Reportedly, the main concern is his wage. Goretzka believes he deserves a significant raise having proven as one of Europe's top midfielders in the last couple of seasons.

He could join Manchester United on a free transfer next season, and the Red Devils are reportedly keen on splashing €200.000 a week on his wage. According to Goal, Goretzka isn't paying attention to outside interest and is focused on the new season & contract with Bayern.

Bayern already lost Alaba on a free transfer to Real Madrid, while Kingsley Coman seems to be pushing for an exit this summer. Munich's biggest star, Robert Lewandowski, also hasn't extended his contract and could potentially leave for free if Chelsea doesn't already scoop him up this transfer window.

Leon Goretzka seems to be of interest also to the two biggest Spanish clubs, FC Barcelona and Real Madrid, but all signs suggest he will stay put. Munich's new boss, Julian Nagelsmann said this about the midfielder:

“I would be very happy to have many years of the hopeful era together with Leon because I think very highly of him, because I will have an excellent collaboration with him and because he is one the most dangerous midfielders in Europe.”
