In a stunning turn of events on Thursday, Youtuber and social media personality Logan Paul has signed a contract with the WWE, signaling the beginning of a pro wrestling career.

Paul shared the announcement in a post on his Twitter account, which featured him standing next to acting WWE CEO Stephanie McMahon and wrestling legend Triple H, also known as Paul Levesque. The news comes after Paul participated in a WWE WrestleMania event.

The Youtuber and social media personality helped The Miz defeat Rey and Dominick Mysterio in a WWE WrestleMania event earlier this year in Dallas, Texas. The Miz then promptly attacked Paul after the victory, planting the seed for a rivalry.

While Paul may have tagged with The Miz in that event, it didn't stop him from sending a message to the veteran wrestler after signing the dotted line.

That's right. Paul said that he is “coming for” The Miz after signing his new WWE deal. The 27-year-old Youtuber gained notoriety for his first professional boxing match against British Youtuber KSI, then for his exhibition match against star boxer Floyd Mayweather Jr.

There's no doubt that Paul will be a draw for the WWE. His first scheduled appearance doesn't have a confirmed date yet, though there have been rumors that he would be in the ring for SummerSlam, which takes place on July 30.
