Orlando Magic guard Markelle Fultz was a recent victim of mistaken identity on a nationally broadcasted WNBA contest. The former first overall pick appeared to be in a jovial mood, and instead, laughed off this potentially insulting mishap:

In truth, this is a pretty hilarious mix-up, and we're glad Fultz saw the lighter side of things. We're not completely sure who this man actually is, but this is a pretty huge blooper. The Washington Mystics' broadcast team will probably need to do a bit more research next time. A simple Google image search would have done the job, right?

For his part, Fultz does not appear to be spending his summer attending WNBA contests, with the 21-year-old presumably working hard on his own game in preparation for the new season. The former University of Washington standout has had a terrible NBA career thus far, playing in only 33 games in his first two seasons in the league.

The good news here is that by being shipped off to the Magic last February, Fultz is being given an opportunity for a fresh start. It was recently reported that Orlando is quite excited with the progress the youngster is making on his road to recovery, and it is indeed looking like he will be figuring heavily in the Magic's plans for the upcoming season.
