When the Dallas Mavericks signed Klay Thompson, they probably knew that he likes to do other things than just play basketball. If they didn't know then, they know now, after Thompson was seen dancing in Cameroon with his former Golden State Warriors teammate, Festus Ezeli.

Ezeli posted and shared clips on Instagram of him and Thompson dancing in Cameroon while they were also supporting youth basketball camps and a U20 tournament, according to Marc Delucchi of Golden State of Mind. Even though Thompson may not be on the Warriors anymore and moved on to the Mavericks, he's showing that he still has a close bond with one of his former teammates.

Klay Thompson is on the list of one of the greatest three-point shooters the NBA has ever seen, but he also is known for going on side missions that have nothing to do with basketball.

The Mavericks sharpshooter is famously known for riding boats, something that he dreamed of since he was a kid, and doing it to help him while recovering from a torn ACL and Achilles tendon that kept him sidelined for two years in a row.

“There was always a plan to get a boat,” Thompson said on Draymond Green's podcast. “And believe it or not, there was a San Francisco Chronicle article from 2014 where I’m quoted saying my dream one day is to own a fishing boat. And it just so happened I had some free time, I got healthy enough where I was mobile again in 2019 and I pulled the trigger, I got a big old sport fishing closed cabin boat.”

There's no telling what Thompson will get himself into, but whatever it is, it'll most likely be something fun and unexpected from the new Mavericks player.
