The Dallas Mavericks got bounced early in the playoffs again as they lost a tough Game 7 against Kawhi Leonard and the Los Angeles Clippers. However, it was definitely not because of Luka Doncic. The All-Star guard for Dallas was marvelous all series long and broke a record previously held by superstar LeBron James.

Any time your name is next to legends like that, you know you did something special. Unfortunately, the Clippers won back-to-back games to win the series and advance, but Luka Doncic has proved to everybody– once again– that he is the real deal and one of the best talents in the entire NBA.
Doncic was unreal on a nightly basis as he dealt with a lingering injury and capped it off with an unreal 46-point, 14-assist performance in Game 7 as he finished 17-30 from the field in 44 minutes of action.

Luka has 5 40-point playoff games. That’s more than:

Ray Allen
Vince Carter
Tim Duncan

That's seriously unreal for Luka Doncic and his NBA career is just getting started. The Mavs won't be going anywhere anytime soon and were right there with the Clippers every step of the way. Either way, hats off to Luka on another unbelievable season and an unreal performance with everything on the line in Game 7 in Los Angeles. Unfortunately for the Mavs, their season ends, but the future is bright in Dallas.
