President Donald Trump has had his fair share of banter with sports figures this year although his beefs were mostly with the NFL.

He also tweeted comments regarding Golden State Warriors guard Stephen Curry, uninviting him to the White House once he realized the 2016-17 NBA champs were not planning a visit to the nation's capital.

It didn't stop there as the POTUS shot comments towards Big Baller Brand CEO LaVar Ball.

LiAngelo Ball was among the three UCLA basketball players detained in China during the team's visit and was released early last week, according to President Trump because of him.

While the players did apologize and thanked the President for his involvement, no matter how much or little that may have been, it wasn't enough because POTUS wanted to be appreciated by LaVar Ball himself, calling him ungrateful.

Ball appeared on CNN Monday night for an interview with his opportunity, but declined to send out any thanks, but wished him a Happy Thanksgiving.

Dallas Mavericks owner Mark Cuban who has also been a victim of the Trumps Twitter scorn joked that he should look to receive a pair of $500 Big Baller Brand shoes from LaVar Ball for the extra publicity, and also thinks the two men have more in common than differences.

When asked by TMZ Sports about the two men and their public feud,  – whose feud, he instead took the time to compared the father of Lakers star Lonzo Ball to the President.

“They are so much alike, because Donald will say what he needs to say for PR and to be talked about, so does LaVar,” Cuban said. “Donald doesn't apologize for anything, neither does LaVar. LaVar knows if he apologizes, there's nothing else to talk about. LaVar doesn't apologize, he'll be in the news all day every day and the president will end up having to talk about him.”

Cuban continued

“What's better for Big Baller Brand? It's straight out of the Donald Trump playbook. Congratulations, LaVar.”

Trump and White House associated claimed the President talked to Chinese President Xi Jinping about releasing the three UCLA players prior to their release and return home to Los Angeles. Due to LaVar's refusal to send out a public thank you, President Trump tweeted the message that he “should have left them in jail.”

Cuban also said he believes that both men are media masters and says the real winner of the banter is Big Baller Brand.

The Shark Tank investor and co-host billionaire just may know a little something about marketing.
