With a Memphis Grizzlies Game 5 NBA Playoff game against the Minnesota Timberwolves scheduled for Tuesday night, the eyes of the basketball world will be tuned to the contest to see which team can seize control of a series that is tied at two games apiece. Ahead of the Grizzlies-Timberwolves game, we'll be making our Grizzlies Game 5 predictions.

It's been an up-and-down series for the young Grizzlies. The second-seeded Grizzlies were stunned by the Timberwolves in the series' first game, then bounced back with a huge victory in Game 2, securing the win by a whopping 28 points. Down by 26 points in Game 3, things seemed to be trending downward for Memphis, though a colossal collapse by the Timberwolves led to a Grizzlies victory. Showing incredible toughness, Minnesota bounced back from their crushing loss to get a win and even the series at two games.

Back in Memphis- where they posted the third-best home record in the NBA- is a chance for the Grizzlies to take control of the series for good. To do so, the Grizzlies will need a marquee performance from star guard Ja Morant, who will likely need to rise to the occasion to fend off a hungry Wolves team. But will that be enough? Time will tell.

That said, here are some bold predictions for the Grizzlies-Timberwolves showdown in Game 5.

3 Grizzlies Predictions For Game 5 Vs. Timberwolves

3. The Grizzlies make 15-plus threes as a team

Memphis has shot the three-ball pretty well in the series, especially in Game 4, where they nailed 15 of 32 shots from beyond the arc. With capable snipers, such as Desmond Bane, who knocked down eight triples, and Dillon Brooks, who drained three, the Grizzlies are armed with the weapons necessary to do damage from three-point range. Do damage is exactly what they'll do on Tuesday night. It seems as if the Grizzlies haven't fully exposed a Timberwolves defense that allowed the sixth-most three-pointers per game. That will change on Tuesday when the Grizzlies make 15-plus threes.

2. Ja Morant puts up a 30-point triple-double

Ja Morant didn't put forth the best effort in Game 4, as he was held to 11 points on just 4-for-13 shooting from the field. However, he found other ways to affect the game, securing eight rebounds while dishing out 15 assists. Morant has flashed both his scoring ability- 32 points in Game 1- and his facilitating skills- the aforementioned 15 dimes. However, he has yet to put it all together in one game. If that happens, the Timberwolves defense will be forced to choose between defending the Morant shot or the deadly shooters the Grizzlies have on the outside. It's a recipe for a Morant triple-double.

1. The Grizzlies will win by 20-plus points

Memphis has made it a habit of responding well from tough losses, particularly in this series. The Grizzlies lost a close one in Game 4 and know that they have to put up a far better performance, especially on the defensive end, if they want to win Game 5- and the series. The Grizzlies will lock in defensively, allowing less than 100 points while putting forth their best performance of the series offensively. The result will be a 20-plus point victory for Memphis.
