Miami Dolphins Week 13 Predictions

4. Tua continues showing he's one of the most underrated quarterbacks in the NFL

Over the past few weeks, all Dolphins quarterback Tua Tagovailoa has done is make plays and prove that he is a good NFL quarterback.

It's astonishing what can happen to a quarterback's mind when they don't have to worry about being traded. Prior to the trade deadline, the Dolphins were rumored to have interest in DeShaun Watson. Tua was going to be a part of that deal.

He put up a monster game against the Carolina Panthers in which he only didn't complete four passes as he went 27-31 for 230 yards and a touchdown. Tua was also able to help star rookie wide receiver Jaylen Waddle have nine receptions for over 130 yards and a touchdown. This duo is going to be one of the best in the NFL in a few years. Waddle has continuously shown week in and week out that he is one of the best young wideouts in the league.

Expect Tua to have another big game against an average Giants defense. He's going to throw for over 250 yards while having two touchdowns in the air, one being to Jaylen Waddle.

3. Miami improves their winning streak to 5 games

Miami is coming into this one beating teams much better than the Giants. Their win against the Ravens is certainly one that gave this team plenty of confidence to show them that they can compete with any team in the National Football League.

Miami is going to come out in this one and take care of business. They will then be 6-7 on the season and hope that the New England Patriots and Buffalo Bills start losing some games.

Buffalo has not looked like a great team recently and New England is young. There's a chance that both of them can explode at any moment. The losses against the Jacksonville Jaguars and Atlanta Falcons could very well come back to haunt this Dolphins team. They cannot worry about this right now as they just need to take care of business and control what they can control.

2. The Dolphins win with ease

This Dolphins team is significantly better than the Giants. Not having Daniel Jones there is definitely not going to help this Giants offense, which already struggles at times. Factor in that Saquon Barkley is not playing at 100%, so this is going to be an easy game for the Dolphins' defense to get stops.

With the way Miami's offense has played recently, there's no reason to think that the Dolphins won't walk away with an easy victory. Their run game has even improved recently, and that's going to help them open up the rest of the offense.

Miami is going to win this game while scoring 27 or more points and giving up under 14. There's never going to be a point where this is a close contest, and the Dolphins are going to walk away with their fifth straight win in blowout fashion.

1. The playoff hopes continue

The Dolphins still have a very good chance of making the playoffs. They take on the Giants this week and then the New York Jets in Week 15. These are the two last easiest games on the schedule for the Dolphins. If they want to make the playoffs, they have to take care of business against teams that are worse than them. The past few weeks they have done exactly that.

The last three games of the season could be tough for the Dolphins. They have to take on the New Orleans Saints in New Orleans on a Monday night. In Week 17, they travel to Tennessee to take on the Titans before concluding the season against a good Patriots team in Miami.
