Colby Covington has been trying his hardest to create beef with every fighter in the UFC. That especially goes for Kamaru Usman.

The two were seen talking after their fight at UFC 268 and it seemed like they were saying nice things. The referee eventually separated the two while laughing about how nice they were being.

Colby Covington was asked several times what was said at UFC 268 and he always managed to either dodge the question or come up with some kind of promo. Now the UFC has actually revealed what he said thanks to a microphone in the cage.

“You know I’m trying to sell it for you, get the money,” Covington said after the final bell. “It’s all love.”

“I know,” Usman replied. “I know.”

Colby Covington has been big on never breaking character, something he learned from pro wrestling, and remains one of the biggest villains in the UFC. It looks like his employer has ruined the act by leaking what he said in the cage.

Covington had many obstacles with his UFC character over the years including losing to Usman, Donald Trump no longer being president, and now a video leaking what he said to the champion. It will be interesting to see how ‘Chaos' responds to the video.

Colby Covington has been firing shots at everyone over the past few weeks including Kamaru Usman, Khamzat Chimaev, and Jorge Masvidal. He has made it a point to come after everyone and make the build-ups to his fights more exciting than in the past.
