The Atlanta Braves beat the Houston Astros in six games to take the World Series title, and sure enough, one of the city's leading sports figures in Atlanta Hawks star Trae Young couldn't help but get hyped.

After the Braves demolished the Astros in front of their own Houston fans, 7-0, Young took to Twitter to share he never had any doubt about Atlanta winning it all. He then sent his congratulatory message to the rest of the team as they celebrate the World Series victory.

Young's Hawks teammate Kevin Huerter also congratulated the Braves and heaped praise to the team after showing their never-say-die mentality all year long.

During Game 5 of the series, the Braves looked like they were ready to close the contest and take their trophy. They started off the first inning 4-0, only to allow the Astros claw their way back and extend the series with a 9-5 win.

Heading to Houston, there were concerns that the Braves could have given the Astros the momentum they need to stage a comeback and force a do-or-die Game 7. However, Atlanta quickly erased those concerns as they dominated right from the start.

Jorge Soler opened the floodgates in the third inning with a three-run moonshot that gave them the lead. Perhaps learning from their mistake the last time out, the Braves weren't satisfied and made sure to extend their lead by the fifth inning.

The Astros offered little resistance as Atlanta ran away with the dominant victory.

This performance will certainly inspire Trae Young and the Hawks as they try to improve from their last season's NBA success. After reaching the Eastern Conference Finals, there is no other way to go but up for Young and Co.
