Golden State Warriors star Steph Curry is clearly extremely excited to be playing in the NBA All-Star Game in Charlotte.

Curry has plenty of history in and around the city, as his father, Dell Curry, spent the majority of career with the Charlotte Hornets while Steph played at Davidson during his college days.

So, it's no surprise that Curry would be thrilled to be on one of the NBA's biggest stages with all of the other incredible players in the league.

He discussed how much the opportunity means to him with the NBA on TNT crew prior to the game:

Curry is once again having an outstanding season as the leader of the Warriors' offensive attack, and it's clear that Steve Kerr's squad is going to be the team to beat when it comes playoff time in the league.

Getting DeMarcus Cousins back on the court has been a big boost for Curry and company, and with so many elite talents to guard, it makes it nearly impossible for opponents to match up with the Warriors on a nightly basis.

However, Curry will worry about that once the All-Star break is over.

For now, he'll certainly be enjoying all the fun that the All-Star Game has to offer.
