The NBA continues Saturday night with this elite interconference matchup! It's time to continue our NBA odds series with a Grizzlies-Bulls prediction and pick.

The Memphis Grizzlies are coming off a tough loss to the Minnesota Timberwolves last time out. They still contain the third-best record in the NBA and the Western Conference at (41-20). As for the Chicago Bulls, they are coming off a clutch win over the Atlanta Hawks Thursday night. Chicago is led by DeMar DeRozan who should be the MVP favorite right now. Chicago is (39-21) which puts them first in the East. They and the Miami Heat own the same record. This will be a very good game to pay attention to Saturday night.

Why The Grizzlies Could Cover The Spread

Not only are the Grizzlies one of the best teams in the NBA, but they are dominant against the spread. They are (40-20) on the year which is one of the best marks in the league. That is a great sign for bettors as the Grizzlies come into this game as 1-point underdogs. Ja Morant left the game against the T-Wolves with an injury but isn't listed on the injury report against the Bulls. Unless something happens, he should suit up tonight and play. That clearly gives the Grizzlies a better chance of winning this game.

On the defensive side of the court, they must contain DeRozan. That is an impossible feat right now because that guy is doing stuff only Michael Jordan was able to accomplish in Chicago. He's averaging 28.3 points off 52% shooting. The Bulls are destroying everyone in their way so the Grizzlies are going to have a tough contest tonight. The Grizzlies are (21-10) away from home but the Bulls are dominant at home at (24-8) on the season. This should be an intense battle.

Why The Bulls Could Cover The Spread

Chicago can cover this spread because they are at home here. Both of these teams are very good but I think the homecourt advantage will benefit the Bulls here. DeRozan is third in the NBA in scoring and he is playing very well in front of the home fans. Chicago will need to contain Morant and Desmond Bane tonight. Those two are cooking offensively and the Bulls' defense hasn't been on their game lately. Chicago is allowing 115 points per game over their last 1- while the Grizzlies are averaging 123 points per game over their last 10. 123 points is a massive amount, if Chicago is careful, they could give up a ton of points tonight.

Chicago comes into this game as the favorites at home and that is the right call. It's a very small spread so all they will need to do is just win the game to cover. Both teams are (7-3) in their last 10 games and so it's going to be on whoever's defense steps up tonight will cover this spread.

Final Grizzlies-Bulls Prediction & Pick

I'm leaning toward the Bulls at home here. Memphis can easily steal this win on the road but I think DeRozan and company are playing too well right now. Take the Bulls.

Final Grizzlies-Bulls Prediction & Pick: Bulls -1 (-110)
