The return of LaMelo Ball has surely reinvigorated the Charlotte Hornets. The recovery of the rookie sensation from his wrist injury couldn't come at a more crucial juncture for the Hornets as they need all the momentum they can get heading into the play-in tournament.
But of course, a 19-year-old kid can't solely carry a squad, and LaMelo needs all the help he can get for their late push. According to a report by ESPN, Bridges could return this weekend after sitting out nearly two weeks as part of the NBA's stringent COVID-19 protocols.
Hornets coach James Borrego expressed optimism that Bridges will get back on the floor soon, but if not, they just have to push even more. It's worth noting that LaMelo and Bridges have been playing real well together.

LaMelo and company, who lost to the Los Angeles Clippers on Thursday, will face the New York Knicks on Saturday, and the rim-rattling Bridges will surely help in trying to battle the likes of Julius Randle, Nerlens Noel, and RJ Barrett.
Before getting sidelined, Bridges was having the best stretch of his young career, averaging over 20 points in their last 15 games.
LaMelo Ball has been splendid since his return and while he's gotten consistent help from Terry Rozier, they'll need all the firepower they can get as they try to squeeze into the NBA Playoffs.
