Luka Doncic of the Dallas Mavericks has seen the best of two worlds, both as a star in Europe and as a rookie sensation in the NBA. With his experiences at two of the best basketball leagues in the world, Doncic said that it's easier to score in the NBA compared to the Euroleague, per Alex Madrid of Eurohoops.

“Here [in the NBA] its easier to score compared to Europe, of course. In Europe, the court is smaller and here there is the three seconds rule. I think it’s easier to score here.”

Doncic has not found any trouble in getting acclimated to the NBA game. He's shown that he can score in a multitude of ways, and has already mastered the step-back three as part of his arsenal of go-to moves.

In fact, it's almost becoming too easy for the Slovenian Wonder Boy, who has made several clutch buckets for the Mavs this season. He has not looked like a rookie at all, and his confidence is sky high going up against the best the NBA has to offer night in and night out.

On the season, Doncic is averaging 20.6 points per game on 43.2 percent field goal shooting, and 34.9 percent from three, while adding 7.0 rebounds and 5.5 assists per game. Since the turn of the calendar, he's boosted his averages to 22.8 points, 8.1 rebounds, and 6.4 assists.

If the season ended today, Doncic would join Oscar Robertson, Michael Jordan, LeBron James, and Tyreke Evans as the only rookies with averages of at least 20 points, 5 rebounds, and 5 assists. If we up those numbers to at least 20-7-5, only he and Oscar would be on that list.

Doncic, who is heavily favored to win Rookie of the Year, should have no trouble ultimately joining those lists at the season's end, given that the Mavericks have completely given him the keys to the offense following the departures of Dennis Smith Jr. and Harrison Barnes.
