The Denver Nuggets face a tough test in the playoffs as they battle a powerhouse Golden State Warriors in the opening round. Nikola Jokic and Co. have had a few days to prepare for this highly-anticipated matchup and unsurprisingly, the reigning MVP has been locked in all throughout. So much so, that Jokic didn't even know that Curry was nursing an injury and was in danger of sitting out.

According to Mike Singer of the Denver Post, it was only when he told Jokic about Curry's injury that the Nuggets big man learned about Steph's status for Game 1:

Nikola Jokic didn’t even realize Steph was hurt when we talked to him yesterday. The Nuggets have been preparing like Steph would be available all along.

True enough, Denver's prudence paid off. According to reports, Curry has now recovered from his foot injury and is set to take the court when the Warriors host the Nuggets in Game 1 on Saturday.

You can also be sure that for their part, the Dubs have made the necessary preparations for the Nuggets. Nikola Jokic is one of the top players in the NBA today and coach Kerr and his Warriors aren't taking this matchup lightly at all.
