Golden State Warriors forward Andre Iguodala will meet with the San Antonio Spurs in Los Angeles as soon as free agency starts, according to ESPN's Chris Haynes.

The soon-to-be free agent has drawn interest from plenty of teams this offseason, namely the Brooklyn Nets, who have made a strong push to try and sign versatile wings.

Iguodala has no plans to meet with the Warriors during free agency, according to an earlier report by Haynes. This is a smart move, forcing these teams to make hefty offers that would exceed the $8-to-12 million range that Golden State has estimated to allocate for their sixth man.

The 33-year-old is willing to make some concessions, but is also looking for a long-term contract. By having several offers at hand, Iguodala can press the Warriors' front office into stepping up their offer and potentially putting them at risk of going over the salary cap.

Golden State also intends to extend an offer to unrestricted free agent point guard Shaun Livingston, but that remains solely dependent on how Iguodala's deal pans out, if it does.

The 6-foot-6 forward has engrained himself into the Bay Area, investing on tech companies and other business ventures, making it by far his preferred landing spot this offseason.
