After Magic Johnson made a bold claim in saying that his Showtime Lakers can sweep this year’s Golden State Warriors, it was only a matter of time before the team’s players learn of it. Many were looking forward to the Warriors' response, especially Draymond Green‘s, who has always been the most vocal.
During the media session after practice on Tuesday, the 26-year-old Michigan State product was asked to give his thoughts on Johnson’s statement. He quickly responded, but did not even say a word to let everyone know how he thinks of it.

Green’s laugh says a lot about his belief that the Warriors are an all-time great team and could even rival some of the best in NBA history. One of them are the 1980s Lakers teams, where Johnson starred along with Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, Byron Scott, and James Worthy, just to name a few.
Through 14 postseason games this year so far, the Bay Area team have remained unbeaten and now owns the longest winning streak of all-time to start the playoffs. They also have the chance to extend it further and even sweep the entire postseason, should they win against the Cleveland Cavaliers in four games in the Finals. Should they achieve the tall task, it will strengthen their case as one of the best ever, and can further support Green’s thoughts that what Johnson said was truly something worth laughing about.
