The Golden State Warriors took on the Boston Celtics Friday night in Beantown which did not end so well for the home team.

The Warriors had control of the game from beginning to end and finished it off with a 104-88 win.

Fans at TD Garden booed Kevin Durant because he chose to be a member of the Warriors organization.

Durant visited Boston during his summer free agency period and considered signing with the Celtics, but ultimately decided he would be happiest in Golden State.

Draymond Green told  ESPN's Chris Haynes that they were acting desperate and should refrain from that sort of conduct potentially driving off future free agents.

Fans must be desperate. Like, who boos a guy for taking an interview? That's crazy. I don't get that. Y'all booing somebody for interviewing [with] y'all? Man, they may scare free agents away. You don't want to take an interview and then make enemies for taking an interview. I don't know. They may want to be careful with that.

The Celtics moved on to their consolation prize which opened the door to sign All-star center Al Horford who has recently been out with a concussion.

Green seemed more bothered than Durant about the boos continued.

If you're that mad at what somebody else did with [their] life, you need to evaluate your own life. He made a personal decision for his life, for his happiness, for his career. And if people that mad, they need to reevaluate where their head is at in life. Because I don't know if I can stay that mad at somebody for deciding to do something with their life. That's a slippery slope.

Durant was cool about it and told reporters he loved their enthusiasm.

It's no hard feelings. I still got love for Boston, I still love playing here. You got the best, one of the best crowds in the league. So that's what it's supposed to be.

Although Green had a good point, there is no chance a night of booing will scare off potential free agents.

All fans boo their opponents.
