Though they were able to come out on top, the Golden State Warriors fought a frustrating uphill battle for much of Sunday night's game against the Spurs.
Equally as frustrated was Warriors play-by-play announcer Bob Fitzgerald, who had some not-so-kind words for a particular Spurs fan.
“You even have some jerk off fans trying to screw up a telecast,” Fitzgerald said after a Spurs fan waived something in front of the camera during the broadcast.

Spurs fans watching at home were not so pleased with Fitzgerald's choice of words and so took to Twitter to stick up for their fellow fan.

Because of your offensive language I'm going to have to explain to my kids what "biased announcer" means.

@NBATV Bob Fitzgerald calling a fan a "jerk off" is unexcusable, unacceptable. Very unproffesional behavior. He should be fired.

Bob would get the last laugh though, as the Warriors would go on to win 92-86.
