The Golden State Warriors were on the wrong end of one of the most humiliating defeats in the modern era. Not exaggerating, the Dubs just lost to the Toronto Raptors, 130-77.
No typographical error there: Golden State did just lose by 53 points.
It's not as if the Warriors need more salt in their wounds right now, but this is exactly what we're going to do right here. Below are three insane statistical highlights from Golden State's historic loss:
The Warriors are the only team in the last 25 seasons to lose by 50 while not scoring a fastbreak point.
They only had 1 fastbreak attempt, and missed it. pic.twitter.com/kqwlvI4yxT

Via @EliasSports: "The Raptors outscored the Warriors by 51 points in the 2nd and 3rd quarters. That is the largest point differential over a 2-quarter span within a game in NBA history."
Wow.

Via @ESPNStatsInfo: This was just the fourth time in the last 25 seasons that a team trailed by 60+ points.

Wow just wow. It's tough to be a Warriors fan right now after that huge, huge L. These are the types of losses that stick for a long time.

After the game, Warriors head coach Steve Kerr was understandably at a loss for words:
Kerr: "We just got destroyed. Not a whole lot to be said … humiliating for everybody involved."

In their defense, Golden State was missing Stephen Curry for this one. He's nursing a bruised tailbone and was unable to suit up. Draymond Green was also a late scratch due to a thumb injury.
The Warriors had to rely on the likes of Andrew Wiggins, Kelly Oubre Jr., and James Wiseman in the game, and let's just say that all three of them (as well as the rest of the team for that matter) were pretty bad. Wiggins, Oubre and Wiseman all had a +/- score of at least -32 in the game.
As a bit of a pick-me-up for devastated Warriors fans, Klay Thompson was actually seen putting up a few shots prior to tip-off. He was in full pre-game attire as well and it appears that his road to recovery is going as well as hoped. The Dubs sure could have used Klay on Thursday.
